Our Story
I started making granola back in 2015, not long after the birth of my eldest daughter. I was committed to introducing healthy foods to my children from a young age, as I believe good eating habits start young. I’d spent most of my professional career working in finance, but in November 2019, it was time for a change. I decided to get my Level 2/3 Personal Training Certification and try to build a career around what I am truly passionate about, health and fitness. But as was the case for all of us, 2020 had different plans in store. I started experimenting with how I was making the granola, keeping that old adage in mind, “less is more”. And because my family and I had recently moved to Oxfordshire from Central London, I wanted to incorporate locally-sourced ingredients wherever I could. As a result, I’ve partnered with a local apiary, Butler & Gard, to provide the sole sweetener for Granola Girls.
